Summon the torrent
Fill my cup
Drown myself in the
Steam
Fog the windows
The mirror
So I can shrowd myself
In the haze from the
Anger.
Too much to take on my own

One.

Match the cataclysm with the
Heat of my rage
Over nothing.
It's not hot enough

Two.

Lavender scented alleviation
Not enough
Crank the radio to sway to the
Static.
All I can hear

Three.

Melt into the cold
Rinse myself of the sins
Only to bathe in them again
Hair
Falling out
Strand
by
Strand

Four.

Climb out of my stadium
The battle's not over
The farther I move from it
The closer the edge
Approaching it
Step
by
Step

Five.

Petals across the floor
From where I ripped it from her
Bouquet
A sign of our love
A sign of my hate
Over nothing

Six.

The same rose
Rotting on my window sill
Guarding the indicia
A chalk line for everytime
I thought about it
And almost...
But replaced it with a scar
Elsewhere, instead.

Seven.

Temporary relief
I smile
These are special
I can erase them
And pretend
It never happened.

Six.

Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

It never happened.

"I want no part of it, Kekona." Before the demon king had even spoken, the cloaked figure had denied any pausible request the fiend could suggest.

"I haven't even spoken yet, Banpaia," spoke the shadowed king with a grin, "How do you know I was even here to ask for your assistance in anything?" Banpaia hung his head back to stare at the upside down image of his tomb. He was comfortable lounging in his place in the arms of the marble angel statue and honestly prefered being undisturbed. But of course, Kekona didn't care. In fact it seemed he enjoyed butting in on the vampire's rare moments of almost happiness.

"What else do you come here for?" asked the Banpaia in a lazy tone, "You come to me to try to sneak advice and information out of me, when you know very well that I want no part in anything that concerns you or your schemes."

"Ah, yes, but I always seem to succeed." Kekona smiled at his equal. Only two beings could match the demon's power, and this particular vampire, the oldest in all of Tenjoukai, was one of them.

"Whatever.." groaned Banpaia, pulling his cloak's hood farther over his face to hide his dark red eyes.

"I assume you've heard about the growing hole in the shield that's keeping all of the entrances to Kamia hidden from Earth."

"Of course I have, Kekona. Why are you here?" Then the ancient vampire's eyes caught the tiny shadow that was clinging to the back of the large demon's shirt. Large brown eyes, hidden mostly by messy, dark brown hair, peeked up at the man relaxing on the cemetary's statue. Clothed in a lolita styled black dress and holding a ragged and torn doll, the small girl seemed nothing but harmless. "What is Tama doing with you?" asked Banpaia, almost allowing a sudden tensness to escape into his voice.

Kekona's grin widend as he placed a hand on Tama's shoulder. "Why, she's simply on a stroll with me. But she was also curious about Earth, as if you remember, it's where she's from. But she doesn't remember much of it since she was, you know, killed. Still, that's beyond the point.."

"Get on with it, demon."

"Fine, fine. You know for a vampire of your age, you're pretty impatient."

Banpaia turned his sharp gaze back up to Kekona's face, "I suggest you hurry to your point before I really get impatient."

"Celosia has closed off all the gateways to Earth now that the shields are weakening, and I want you to reopen them." When Banpaia's expression turned suspicious, the demonic ruler of Nekura continued, "I find that I am also..curious, if you will,..about Earth, myself."

"I'm not opening the gateways and I'm not allowing you to enter Earth."

The 'Lec Saiohry'of Nekura nodded down to the little girl, extremely small for her size, at sixteen, the same scheming grin still plastered on his face. "Tama misses Earth dearly, and will do just about anything to get back, won't you?" The girl didn't answer, just continued to stare at the vampire, feet from her, with an unwavering gaze. Not even a blink interrupted her stares.

Banpaia was only slightly unnerved by this, "I couldn't care less for her, Kekona."

"But I'm sure you care about your youngest childer, Banpaia." The vampire sat up. "What was her name..? Siamko?"

"Gamine!"

"Tama would be extremely jealous of your 'petite belle' if you cared more about Siamko than her. After all, Siamko's from Earth, too, isn't she? Yes, this little one doesn't like for others to get what she wants." Tama's hold on her doll tightened as she stared at Banpaia.

The vampire, in a sudden burst of rage, flew from his position on the statue towards the demon, "You leave Siamko out of this!" But Banpaia quickly checked his movement as a fist attempted to fly to Kekona's face when he noticed who was now standing between them. It was Tama, her doll held tight to her chest in her arms. The tiny girl hung her head to stare at the ground, eyes now hidden beneathe her brown locks.

Shit.

There was only one thing that came from that stance, Tama's anger. If anyone knew of her, they knew it was..well it was bad.

The doll in her arms started squirming around and Kekona laughed. "You should know better than that, Banpaia. Tama has control over anything non-living, including your precious little vampire child. I'd suggest you do as I ask before she gets herself killed." . . . "Well, again."

"Vous hybride!" spat Banpaia--it was a common known fact that this vampire spoke in French when severely..irked.

Kekona wagged a finger at the vampire. "Now now now, temper, temper, Banpaia." The demon grinned. "Tama, please remind Banpaia of your abilities." The girl raised her head, pupils but tiny dots in a dull storm of brown.
